Do you offer facial memberships?

Absolutely. All facials have a member pricing option. After the initial service, which will be full price, we prebook the next service and the discount will be applied to that and all future pre-booked appointments. No more than an 8 week period can pass between facials for member pricing to apply.

Do you offer waxing memberships?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Hidden Gem offers bikini, extended bikini, and Brazilian waxing memberships. Same sort of set up as facial memberships. The initial service will be full priced, we pre-book the next appointment and the membership price will be applied at checkout. One must pre-book and complete the appointment for discount. Clients have up to 8 weeks between sessions for member pricing.

How often can I get waxed?

The most common frequency is every 4-6 weeks. The hair can never be too long, length may add to increased sensation but will come up. However the hair can be too short; I suggest usually 1/4 inch, which is around the length of jasmine rice.

Who can get facials?

Accepted Answer

Pretty much anyone! Some of the deeper treatments aren’t meant for people with rosacea, using Accutane, or with active acne breakouts. BUT there are other options to meet the needs of those individuals.

What is Dermaplane?

Dermaplane is an outstanding, exfoliating treatment that uses a scalpel to gently slough off dead skin and peach fuzz. This facial is amazing for special occasions or just as a nice deep treatment. Redness, flaking, and feeling a little tight afterwards is not uncommon. This IS a deep exfoliation.

*NOT SUITED* for individuals with rosacea or who are on Accutane. Must stop all Retinol use at least 2 weeks before.

What is Radio Frequency (RF)?

RF is an outstanding treatment that builds new skin cells. This non-invasive device uses low wave electro magnetic energy to gently warm the tissue. When the skin is warmed between 100-110 degrees, cellular regeneration takes place. This means NEW skin cells are being created. For long-lasting results it’s suggested to do 7-10 annually with the initial 4-6 spaced one month apart.

*NOT SUITED* for individuals with metal implants, active acne, rosacea, and must wait 3 weeks post injection/filler.

What is the Argireline Peptide mask?

Argireline is a synthetic peptide that mimics the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that causes muscle contractions. Argireline prevents the release of neurotransmitters, which reduces muscle contractions and makes skin appear smoother and tighter. Argireline can help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increase skin elasticity, and improve skin texture, tone, and luminosity.

The shop offers two professional skincare lines. Helena Meyer Organics which is small batch made in Boulder, CO and Physician Choice Alliance (PCA), the leader in medical skin care.

Due to the demand of my services I am unable to take late arrivals.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

The Hidden Gem requires 24 hours notice for any cancellations or it will be 50% charge  of service to the card on file. Any day-of cancellations  will be charged in full.

What is your no show policy?

Accepted Answer

All no shows will be charged 100% of service.
