  • What is the aftercare for lash lifts?
    The lashes will continue to set as they dry. It’s important to not get them wet and away from steam. Stomach and side sleeping isn’t advised because it can squish the lashes up and that’s how they will set.
  • What is a lash lift?
    Lash lifts are a low-maintenance alternative to false lashes or extensions. Lifts use perming and setting solutions to temporarily curl the lashes. With proper aftercare lifts can last around 6 weeks.
  • What is the No-Tox Botox mask?
    The No-Tox consists of Argireline which is a synthetic peptide that mimics the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that causes muscle contractions. Argireline prevents the release of neurotransmitters, which reduces muscle contractions and makes skin appear smoother and tighter. Argireline can help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increase skin elasticity, and improve skin texture, tone, and luminosity.
  • What is Microcurrent Stimulation?
    A Microcurrent facial is a cosmetic treatment where a special handheld device is used to deliver tiny currents of electricity to the face. These microcurrents stimulate the skin and muscles with the aim of improving a person’s appearance.
  • What is No-Needle Mesotherapy?
    No-needle mesotherapy, also known as transdermal mesotherapy or electroporation, is a non-invasive skin treatment that delivers active ingredients into the skin without needles. The device uses a low-frequency electrical current and ultrasound to temporarily open micro-channels in the cell, allowing ingredients to be absorbed. This causes deeper penetration of serums and longer lasting results.
  • What is Radio Frequency?
    Radio Frequency is a one of a kind skin tightening treatment designed for long-term skin rejuvenating benefits. This non-invasive device uses low wave electromagnetic energy to gently warm the tissue. When the skin is warmed between 100-110 degrees, cellular regeneration takes place. This means NEW skin cells are being created. For long-lasting results this facial is best in a series of 7-10 treatments a year with the first 4-6 spaced one month. Active acne, Rosacea, history of skin cancer or metal implants are contraindicated for this treatment.
  • How often can you get waxed?
    It depends on the area but usually one can get waxed every 4 weeks, the hair just needs to be the length of long grain rice. My bikini area clients usually book every 4-6 weeks.
  • Do you offer body waxing?
    Yes! The shop offers head to toe waxing. Fun fact: Zaphira is known for her Brazilians being less painful. The Hidden Gem uses natural resin based hard wax and cream based soft wax. These waxes are formulated to be more gentle on the skin.
  • What is your no-show policy?
    It will always be 100% charge of service.
  • Will you accept late arrivals?
    I try my best to accommodate what life throws at us but due to the high demand of services and my desire to respect everyone's time, I cannot accept late arrivals to any waxing, tinting or lash lift services. If one is more than 10 minutes late to their facial appointment the service will be cancelled and there will be a 50% charge.
  • Is there a cancellation / rescheduling policy?
    Yes. The Hidden Gem has a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Any changes made within that time frame will be charged the full amount of the service. Any day of rescheduling will result in a 50% charge. I do my best to be as fair as possible and I realize life can happen out of nowhere and I work hard to work with y'all. However if there is a pattern of late cancels or arrivals, you will not be allowed back.
  • Do you offer waxing memberships?
    Yes! Hidden Gem offers bikini, extended bikini and Brazilian waxing memberships. The initial service will be full priced, we will prebook and at that following appointment the membership will be applied. Clients have up to 8 weeks between sessions for member pricing to apply. Normal cancellation and reschedule policy.
  • What product lines do you use?
    The shop offers two professional skincare lines. Helena Meyer Organics which is small batch made in Boulder, CO and Physician Choice Alliance (PCA), the leader in medical skin care.
  • If I am on membership, do I have to do the same facial each time?
    Nope. You are able to try any and all facials and receive a discount. The amount does vary so be sure to check member pricing on the Skin page.
  • Do you offer facial memberships?
    Absolutely. All facials have a member pricing option. After the initial service, which will be full price, we prebook the next service and the discount will be applied to that and all future pre-booked appointments. No more than an 8 week period can pass between facials for member pricing to apply. Normal cancellation and reschedule policy.
